- The company has expanded its sustainable fleet in Portugal with the addition of 10 new electric vehicles in Lisbon.
NACEX, an express transport company belonging to the Logista group, continues to advance its sustainability strategy by expanding its eco-friendly fleet in Portugal.
In line with its decarbonization plan, the company has added 10 new electric vehicles, which are already operating in the Lisbon area, reinforcing its commitment to more efficient and sustainable operations.
This initiative is part of NACEX’s commitment to sustainable mobility, a strategic pillar aimed at reducing the environmental impact of its operations without compromising service quality and excellence. The progressive electrification of the fleet helps reduce CO₂ emissions, align with European sustainability guidelines, and optimize operational costs, especially those related to fuel consumption.
Since the launch of the ECO Mobility by NACEX incentive program in 2022, aimed at renewing and electrifying its fleets, the company has already achieved a reduction of 142,591.24 kg of CO₂ eq.
The new electric fleet complements other sustainable actions implemented by NACEX, such as its NACEX.shop network, with more than 4,000 convenience points in Portugal and Spain, which facilitate the sending, returning, and delivery of parcels in a more sustainable way; route optimization using artificial intelligence; and eco-designed packaging.
